I COMPLETELY ship Bolin and Korra together. He was so kind from the start, not caring about her being the avatar or not because she was special anyways. They had such a good time on that date....While (IMO) Mako is a jerk who doesn't deserve Asami or Korra! (this is my thoughts on us girls friend zoning guys) We see anything that CAN be interpreted as a romantic sign of affection (by others) as harmless, for fear of thinking it's romantic making us one of those overreacting, hopeless, annoying girls. Ones who read more out of everything than there actually is.
